| As part of a promotional bid to get more gamers onto XBOX Live when you purchase any Live enabled XBOX game through the holidays you get two months of XBOX Live free. This comes at a crucial time as current XBOX Live Subscribers will be coming up for renewal soon! Some of the games featured in the promotion are: Crimson Skies, Rainbow Six 3, NFL Fever, and Top Spin!

XBL's price is very fair. It's the broadband prices that have kept me from signing on. I can't justify the cost. I'd rather buy a new game a month rather than pay a broadband provider.

now all they need to do is make a deal with one of the broadband providers(comcast or someone) to get a discount on their service for being on xbox live, another incentive to get gamers on, get them playing, and keep them playing. $5-10 off on your cable bill, means one more pay to play games we can buy w/out worrying about the extra costs

This, along with the price drop to $150(still a rumor, but we all know it has to happen), and with many more people signing up for broadband will surely get more people into playing games online. I bet when the next Xbox system is released almost all games will use Xbox Live in some sort of way.
